Titan exhibited at Agribition in Regina, Saskatchewan with distribution partner PMT Inc. Agribition is one of the largest agricultural expositions in Canada. 

 

Titan displayed its advanced carbon products that are being used by dairy farms to enhance the sustainability and profitability of their operations.

Kelly and Audrey Taylor-Faye have produced charcoal and tea-tree soap and charcoal infused tooth polish with Titan's carbon product for a truly sustainable and locally sourced product.

Titan Participates in Largest Ever Carbon Trial at Waterloo

Titan is very pleased to be participating in the largest replicated biochar trial in Ontario.  The project has numerous facets including carbon addition to animal manure, nutrient retention, and greenhouse gas analysis. 

​

Titan’s sustainable biocarbon has been selected for this exciting multi-year research project being undertaken by the University of Waterloo.

Titan Hosts Open House

Titan’s friends, family, and clients enjoyed a beautiful sunny day for its annual open house and golf tournament. 

Approximately 60 people attended the luncheon and tour, and we hosted eight foursomes for the best ball tournament. 

​

Employee Michele Kiss (photo second from left) said, “It's always great to enjoy a relaxing day with our friends and partners.  The event is a good way to invite the community to learn about what we are doing in town, and how we're working toward a sustainable bio-economy.”

Titan Attends US Biochar Initiative at University of Oregon

Titan Clean Energy Projects was invited to attend a delegation of Canadian clean technology companies at the United States Biochar Initiative (USBI) in Corvalis, Oregon at the beautiful Oregon State University Campus.  

​

Titan displayed is biocarbon products to an enthusiastic community.  Jamie Bakos attended and commented “I met a lot of interesting people here and we will definitely plan to be back in 2017. Many thanks to Don Harfield and from Alberta Innovates Technology Futures (now Innotech) who organized the Canadian delegation and presented an excellent keynote at the closing luncheon.”  

 

A North American Biochar Working Group was established with biochar leaders from Canada, the USA and Mexico.

Titan at Ag in Motion- Saskatoon

Titan Presents at SWRC Workshop in Calgary

Titan was an invited speaker at the annual conference of the Solid Waste Association of North America (Northern Lights Chapter) in Calgary, Alberta. 

​

The company was asked to provide an overview of commercial products that are manufactured from wood waste and agricultural residues (i.e. solid waste biomass materials).  President and CEO Jamie Bakos provided samples including a biocarbon animal feed additive for dogs and horses and a demonstration of its new eco-absorbent for spill clean up. 

 

The presentation was well attended with over 300 participants at the SWANA annual event.

Titan Presents at Ratepayers Meeting

Titan was invited to speak at the annual rate payers meeting of the RM of Mervin.  President Jamie Bakos presented an overview of its clean technologies and products that convert agricultural biomass into clean renewable products such as biocarbon soil enhancers, animal feed additives, and animal bedding products.   The event was attended by over 100 people from the RM.
