Titan Presents at SWRC Workshops

Titan was pleased to be an invited speaker at four workshops held by the Saskatchewan Waste Reduction Council.

 

Jamie Bakos, President and CEO of Titan Clean Energy, conducted 30 minute sessions about the many options for recycling wood waste and provided a case study of the Craik Community Composting Program. 

 

Mr. Bakos was pleased with the event, "the sessions were well organized and well attended.  They were highly interactive and offered excellent discussions about the current situation and future direction of solid waste management in Saskatchewan."

The workshops were held in Melfort, North Battleford, Moose Jaw, and Yorkton

Jamie Bakos joins Saskatchewan Waste Reduction Council

Jamie Bakos, President and CEO of Titan Clean Energy, was appointed to the board of the Saskatchewan Waste Reduction Council (SWRC) on April 23, 2015 for a two year term.  He now serves on their Strategic Directions Committee.

​

Bakos commented, "I'm impressed by the quality of individuals including both staff and board members of the SWRC. Their recent AGM in Saskatoon was a class act, from the speakers, to the awards banquette to the highly entertaining (and comedic) social events.  I am looking forward to working with the team to help advance waste reduction, recycling, and environmental stewardship in the Province of Saskatchewan.”

Ministry of the Environment Tours Titan Facility

Titan was pleased to host a tour of its facilities for the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment.  Titan showcased its waste wood recycling technologies and two new products. The company also demonstrated the performance of an all-natural and highly effective oil absorbent and an industrial product that can help reduce costs associated with oil and gas recovery and mining exploration.
