The Craik Processing Facility

The Craik Community Composting Project

In partnership with the Town of Craik, the Craik Sustainable Living Project and Waste Management, Titan is now processing the community’s household green-bin waste though the Craik Community Composting Project. Once the compost has cured, it will be returned to the town for use in the community gardens and green spaces.  Starting in the winter of 2009, all organic material is accepted in two central bins and is processed and composted by Titan at our processing facility.  Each household was approached by the organizers and we are glad to report that there is nearly unanimous support of this initiative. We expect finished compost to be available to the community in the summer of 2010.
