Jamie has been a specialist in clean technology for over 20 years. He has 16 years of environmental engineering and business experience including 7 years as Director of Clean Technology at Giffels Associates, a leading international engineering, procurement, and construction firm in Toronto. He provides expert proposal review for federal and provincial government funding programs. Jamie also serves on the board of the Canadian Bioenergy Association (CANBIO). Jamie is responsible for corporate communications, business development, and corporate strategy.
Jason has over 17 years mechanical engineering and business experience including 15 years with SaskEnergy / TransGas. He has extensive experience in planning, project engineering, and business development roles including several years of clean energy project development. Jason is responsible for product development, government relations, and corporate operations.
Maurice has over 34 years of electronic and mechanical design experience and has developed numerous electronic, mechanical, robotic and software systems for corporations including Water Group, IPSCO, and Brandt Industries. Maurice is the author of several patents, and has expertise in the areas of laser alignment systems chemical reactor design, analog and digital hardware design, imbedded control systems design, solid and flow modeling and analysis, optical systems design and SEM operation, and sample analysis. Maurice is responsible for technology development and design at Titan.
Roger is an entrepreneur, licensed interprovincial heavy duty mechanic, licensed interprovincial welder and multi-disciplined tradesperson with over 30 years of heavy construction and business experience. He successfully partnered and built one of Saskatchewan’s largest biomass harvesting operations in the forestry industry contracting mainly to Weyerhaeuser from 1994 to 2006. Roger is responsible for Titan's project construction, equipment fabrication, and preventative maintenance. He serves on Titan's board of directors.
Darryl has a diploma in Forest Technology from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and a degree in Forest Business Management from the University of Alberta. After spending 17 years with Weyerhaeuser in Alberta and Saskatchewan, Darryl started an environmental and forestry consulting company specializing in green technology. He has participated in various national working groups related to environmental management. Darryl is responsible for process management and environmental and safety procedures and approvals for Titan.
Gerald is a mechanist by trade with over 25 years of business management and supervisory experience. Responsibilities included quality control, environmental and safety management, administration, and client liaison. Gerald has demonstrated competency in project management, innovative solutions, and staff training. He successfully owned and operated a large forest harvesting company committed to safety, efficiency, and quality. Gerald designed and implemented a company specific safety program resulting in an operation with an exceptional safety performance.
Michele graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with an Honours Arts degree from the University of Saskatchewan and completed her Masters in the Humanities in the UK in 1997. Since graduating, she has worked for several top-tier advertising agencies in Canada, most notably as an Account Executive at Ogilvy and Mather (Toronto), a Senior Account Executive at Anderson DDB (Toronto) and Project Manager at Karo Group (Calgary). Michele clients have included companies such as HBC, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, ConocoPhillips and ENMAX. Michele is responsible for marketing and administration for Titan.
Sean has over 10 years of experience in capital markets and finance spending 12 years at Canada’s largest independent investment dealer, Canaccord Capital, focusing on private client equity management having helped arrange early stage corporate finance transactions, research origination and the formation and capitalization of CPC’s. Sean is also the President of Foundation Investment Capital Corporation, a private company focused on the commercialization of new and novel technologies.
Chris was appointed President of Karo Design in Calgary, then became CEO of Karo Group after the merger of Vancouver and Calgary offices in 2007. Since Chris became CEO Karo Group has been awarded several top honours including being named one of Marketing Magazine's top ten agencies in Canada and Karo placed in the top ten best workplaces in Canada according to the Great Place to Work® Institute in 2008 and 2009. Under Chris’ leadership the company has won international gold medals for its work. Clients include Enbridge, BCTel, ENMAX, Shaw Communications, Travel Alberta, ConocoPhillips Canada, NewAlta, and the Calgary Stampede. Chris serves as an external advisor to Titan.
